ChunkWalker is an Alpha of a new product under development. IT allows one to walk with a camera at fixed height above a piece of terrain used in the art program "'Terragen', published by Planetside Software®. We're about to release a Skybox Viewer program which, in conjunction with technology demonstrated here, will allow a user to roam a piece of terrain defined by GeoTIFF data with a camera at fixed height above the terrain. The demo .zip contains a rough skybox and piece of fictional terrain exported from Terragen. Load the .bisb skybox (SB2.bisb) and the associated terrain chunk (Villa1.btc) for a rough demo of the concept.

An alpha version is available for download below. The installation .zip file contains two items - an installer (ChunkWalker Installer.exe), and an installer package (OneStone ChunkWalker Setup.msi). On most machines, it's necessary to right-click on the .exe file and select 'Run as Administrator' to install the app properly. If an 'Installation Corrupted' message appears when you try to run the program for the first time, that's likely to be the problem.

IMPORTANT: On some systems, the content of the ZIP file is blocked and the installer may fail to run. Before extracting it, right click on the ZIP file, select Properties, and click on the Unblock button if it is present in the lower right corner of the General tab in the properties dialog.
